After that we got back on the bus and made our way to Wally World (Walmart… again) to pick up much needed supplies for the long and perilous journey ahead. For breakfast, the Sneezy cooks spoiled us to one of the most perfect breakfasts yet! We had cereal bar AND yogurt with granola, what a treat! We can't wait to see all the the state of Kansas has to offer!

While traveling down the yellow brick road on the bus today, Matthew and Mason spent hours (8? Maybe 9?) talking about Star Wars. Everyone else chatted with each other and listened to different types of music. Speaking of music, Zach Bryan just released a new album! The album is called The Great American Bar Scene, and we listened to it with much excitement on the bus. As well as this, Dallas let us watch Cars and Cars 2! We wish we could explain how exciting this was for all of us, however only being there would prove our tremendous joy. CARSSS! Watching Lightning McQueen, a fake, sassy, pixelated red car on a screen was overall the best part of everyone’s day.
On the van, all the girls did their and each other’s hair, along with a few unwilling boys. We also listened to music and had deep conversations (about wishing we were also watching Cars and Cars 2). A lot of the people on the bus got fun, temporary tattoos for the 4th of July, and so with the red, white, and blue clothing, “USA” decorations hung around the bus, and American music that was being played, I doubt there was a more patriotic group than us!
For lunch we were treated yet again with some amazing sandwiches on sourdough bread. The cooks went all out and allowed room in the budget for cheez-it's, cookies, AND juice boxes!
Today was a special day because we stopped at Walmart AGAIN! Don't ask questions when you see our Life360 magically end up there when we return... we have established a real relationship with that place!
Finally, after a long, long day of driving, we reached Tuttle Creek Campground. We immediately got out and did a group competition, which was very… interesting. We were given the wild task of popping balloons by simply hugging each other (without hands)!! This game took group hugs to a whole other level. Sometimes, it was even painful (poor Clara was struggling). Obviously, the Grumpy group won (just don’t ask any of the counselors about it… the Sneezy group definitely did not come in first). In the end, it was still very fun and a nice switch up to the day!

Now we are all about to gather and have a tradtional 4th of July cookout meal of hotdogs, watermelon, chips, and 4th of July decorated cupcakes, brought to us by non other than the Sneezy’s (who were definitely not the winners of the ballon game)!
After dinner, we will have a classic TWB sing-a-long to end the 4th of July celebration (Sorry in advance to our neighbors... we WILL be singing Party in the U.S.A at the top of our lungs!)

Until tomorrow… Peace out from the Grumpy’s!
