Day 13-Yosemite

 Day 13: Yosemite

Hello blog its the Sneezy's coming A-CHOOO live from Yosemite!

Meet our sick family Rachel, George, Katherine, Jack, Cooper, Gracen, Callee, Khushi, Lillian, Copeland, Ashlyn, Zara, Connor, and Ella :)

Today's adventure kicked off bright and early at the Waller Center, but don't worry, we brought the party with us! Despite the 5:45 AM wakeup call, Dallas serenaded us awake (or at least tried to!) with her morning melodies.

The weather was playing games with us, keeping things brisk under heavy clouds, but that didn't dampen our spirits. Ian, our resident DJ, attempted to jolt us awake with some unexpected tunes — well, fart noises over the microphone, to be precise! Let's just say, it was an interesting wake-up strategy.

After a brief unintended nap (thanks, Ian!), Dallas saved the day by cranking up the ultimate anthem: "Wakey Wakey Eggs and Bakey"! Who needs eggs and bacon when you've got pop tarts and applesauce, right? We even lucked out with sporks this morning, making our applesauce consumption a bit more civilized.

                                                                  Our gourmet meal!!

Our first sleepers of the day

                                                                             Zzzzzzz

Shortly after breakfast we stopped at Walmart. The sweatpants didn’t last long for most, but for the unlucky shorts were not an option. The run consisted of food, bathroom breaks, and fourth of July drip!

Some of us raided the breakfast burritos and chicken sandwiches aisle because some of us were craving some extra protein. Meanwhile, our culinary geniuses planned out the next four meals with the precision of the Paula Dean mindset (okay, maybe not quite, but we're still stoked.)

Post-Walmart, we kicked it into high gear with a few epic jam sessions on Miss America, where Carolina Girl handed out superlatives like candy. Big shoutout to George for snagging the "Most Likely to Find Big Foot" title — now that's a résumé booster!

Back on the bus, we balanced catching up on sleep with Dallas's attempt at stand-up comedy via her "try not to laugh" playlist (spoiler: we definitely laughed).  Now off to Yo-smiddy!!!

Ready for the 4th of July!!

           Looking at the blog!

Sitting on the curb at Wally World?

Who knew all 88 of us could fit on one bus!!

Squeezed in real tight

This bus smells like feet.

Squished would be an understatement.

After an epic morning, it was time to refuel with a gourmet feast fit for champions: hoagie bread piled high with ham and cheese, because why settle for ordinary? And of course, no meal is complete without smiley gummies to add a sprinkle of joy and bring back childhood memories! Post-feast, it was time for a pit stop at Vons, where we encountered the ultimate temptation: precious puppies! Don't worry, Dallas — we resisted the urge to bring one (or five) onboard. Consider it our gift to you!

Our adventure kicked off with a twist — swapping buses right as we arrived, because why not keep things interesting? As we wound down the scenic, twisty roads, we belted out our anthem, "Wagon Wheel," like there was no tomorrow. We took a short hike through the Redwood Forest where we saw the giant sequoias. Some even ventured to see the Grizzly Giant. We took many pictures for our mommy's and shared many laughs.

Lunch of champs!

Post-hike, Jack made a bold move with his beef jerky stash and, um, unique singing skills (send help and air fresheners, please!). Even though the bus smells like feet, everyone has been catching up on the hours of lost sleep. (Kat the poet)

No Big Foot or bear sightings today, sadly, but we made up for it with pit stops at the awe-inspiring Inspiration Point for some serious research presentations, and a serene lake at the base of snowy hills.

Now, at our cozy campsite, Mono Vista RV Park, we're devouring hotdogs, corn, and baked beans like champions before we hit the sack. Tomorrow holds another epic journey, but for now, it's all about a well-deserved night of rest. Get ready for some seriously sweet dreams!
